Waterton my friend...

we were finally able to make it out to visit you for the first time this summer! Thank you for the good weather, yummy ice cream, and lots of FUN! We love you! I promise we won't wait so long to come and see you again.

Best Part of Summer!

SLURPEE'S! I love them. I remember riding my bike daily as a child to go get a slurpee (remember Dayna!). Not much has changed. When I get bored, we go get slurpee's. Which lets be honest, is a lot!

Poor Bear

This is Poor Bear.

I have no idea why, but that's what Ty always calls him. Before bed he'll say "I need my poor Bear" The other day Ty and McKenna were fighting over him. Both saying "that's my poor bear!" "No, its my poor bear!"

I think he's a pretty lucky bear to have these two cuties fighting over him!

Today I told Ty that he was impossible, and he said "No, your a popsicle!" LOVE HIM!

Canada Day!

Every year we go out to Raymond for the parade, and spend all day at my Grandma's with all of my Mom's family. I've been doing this since as long as I can remember, so it's so fun to pass this tradition on to my kids. We eat food all day, visit, and play games. The kids always have a blast playing with their cousin's and playing outside. Hope everyone had a fabulous Canada Day! I'm sure grateful to live in such a beautiful country!

Summer Fun!

Finally, some beautiful sunshine!

Relay for Life!

Every year we participate in the Relay for Life. Its a fundraiser for cancer research where we walk all night long. We have a little campsite set up and they have food, entertainment, and lots of stuff going on as we walk around a track. Someone from your team is supposed to be walking at all times, the rest of us can hang out and visit and enjoy each other's company until its our turn to walk. Its usually really fun and a nice time to think about my Mom and her brother Barry. This year I was in a really bad mood so i didn't enjoy it as much as I should have. McKenna had been sick the few days prior to that so I didn't stay the whole night because I needed a good nights sleep. Ryan and the kids came for about an hour and then Ryan took them out to Cardston for the night. It took me a while to get into it, but by the end of the night I was happy to be with my family. The day before was the the day (two years ago) that Mom passed. It was a really hard couple of days. It hit me harder then I thought was still possible after two years. Hopefully next year will be a more enjoyable experience for me. I didn't get too many pictures but here's one of my family before they headed off to Cardston.

Father's Day!

We sure love this guy!

Happy Father's Day Ry! We love you lots and lots!

Date Night!

My sister in-law and I do a monthly babysitting swap, so we can got out with our husbands and not have to pay for a babysitter. Last night was our night so we were trying to think of something to do...you know, the regular...dinner, a movie...etc. Ryan called me in the morning wondering if we wanted to go to this Stars fundraiser dinner thing that his boss bought a table to. We decided why not, its something new and different. My next question was "what the heck do I wear to something like this?" Of course my husband didn't know. The tickets are pretty pricey and the food is supposed to be a "5 star meal". I even decided to curl my hair all nice. Well, being the procrastinator that I am, I didn't start getting dressed until like 15 minutes before we had to leave, I mean, how hard can it be to find something to wear. It took me a half an hour to finally decide on an outfit, which by the way, the cardigan was still damp because I put it in the dryer way too late. By the time we got in the van my hair was completely flat. Seriously, I don't know why I bother. My hair just doesn't hold curl very well. It looked fantastic for 10 minutes anyway. The dinner was amazing! It was a buffet with so many delicious things to eat. They had a bunch of draws and a silent auction, but the best part of the night was the live band. It was so much fun to get out on the dance floor and boogie! I love, love to dance and don't get much opportunity to. Not like I can crash an Institute dance! I even got Ryan on the dance floor to bust a move, which if you know Ryan, is a huge deal. We even got to jive! It was way too much fun. I could have danced all night! Definitely the best date night we've had in awhile! Hopefully we'll be able to go again next year.

This morning I woke up to a little 2 year old voice singing "twinkle, twinkle little star" is there anything better then that!

Mr. T

Mr. T-Ball that is!

Finally...

a day where we can get out of the house and play! Britteni and Bella-Grace came over and we walked to the park at the pond just behind our house. They have a new fantastic playground. We even brought a picnic lunch! I love Spring when it feels like Summer!

This is the coolest thing. There is a crank at the end that you turn, and it makes the whole thing move from one end to the other. Really fun. (pictured above)

The kids bringing flowers to Grandma Kim's grave on Mother's Day.

I could not for the life of me get all the kids looking at the same time. Oh well.

Hope your all enjoying this beautiful day!
