We have been busy, busy. Here are a few things we have been doing:
-a lot of packing and organizing of course! I've been packing a little here and there over the last two weeks, but am now in panic mode because we only have 3 days left! THREE! Can you believe it? I am so excited! We take possession on Thursday so Ryan and I will start moving and unpacking some things and then Friday all the Olsen men are coming in to move the big stuff, while us woman unpack at the new house. I cannot wait until we are all settled.
-We had our last day in Primary on Sunday. Ryan and I teach the 7-8 yr olds. The kids love their classes and their teachers so it was hard to say goodbye but we're excited to meet new people and make new friends in our new ward. We have one more week in 10th ward but will only stay for sacrament. We have loved every minute of being in the 10th ward!
-We have been busy with Nate's Kindergarten. He had a snack day (muffins and cheese strings, with juice), we had his last gym and swim day at the YMCA. We all got to go and play in the gym for an hour and they had a huge astro jump set up. All the kids had so much fun. He had festival where his class did a reading of "Where the Wild Things Are". It was so cute! They did a good job. They've been learning the alphabet and Nate was assigned the 'N' bag. We had to collect up to 5 objects that he could take that started with the letter 'N', and he had to memorize a little poem and recite it to the class. On Friday I got to go to school with Nate for a day of Science. The kids got to go to 4 different science stations and learn about being an Astronomer, a Meteorologist, a Chemist, and a Paleontologist. Me and another Mom were in charge of the astronomy station. We both had a fun day! Last night I was making an Easter basket for Nate's Easter party. Its a surprise for the kids. Now I just have to decorate it! I also need to make him an Easter Tie for his party as well. His party is on Thursday and then he has a week off for Easter holidays! It will be nice to have a little break from Kindergarten. I can't believe he only has 2 months left!
-Nate's supposed to start T-ball tomorrow, but I don't see that happening because of the weather, so maybe Thursday.
-We went to Okotoks on Saturday with all my family to celebrate the April birthdays in our family. We had a fun day! A very yummy ham dinner, did some shopping, and watched Tangled. It was nice to spend some time with Grandpa and Penny. The only downfall was leaving at 9:00pm and having to drive home in a snowstorm. We didn't get home until 12:00am.

My cute girl reading all of Penny's books!

-Yesterday was my 30th bday. Yes, I am the big 3-0. I still feel like I'm 23 though. It was a nice relaxing day. We went to church and the primary sang happy birthday to me and I got a chocolate bar. Ryan and the kids got me Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and cooked all the meals, and let me relax all afternoon. I had a nice hot bath and a nap. I got lots of birthday phone calls and birthday wishes on facebook, and later in the evening my sister in-law Shannon brought me over a piece of chocolate cream pie. It was a good bday!
My next post will be a tour of my new house! Stay tuned...
