Happy Mother's Day!

I woke up yesterday morning to little footsteps and whispers. Nate was carrying a bag of reese peanut butter balls, Ty a card, and McKenna Bride Wars on Dvd (really cute movie). I was very surprised! Ryan's usually not good at things like this (sorry honey, but you know its true). I was very impressed and grateful. Four big hugs and four "Happy Mother's Days!" I was the happiest girl in the world! Not to mention the night I had off on Friday...thanks honey! It was a great Mother's Day! After church we went to my Grandma's for dinner. Yummy beef dip...thanks Grandma! It was a nice day.

Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to be a Mother! Being a Mother of three little one's is not always easy, but it sure is worth it! There are so many perfect moments that fill my days! When I found out I was pregnant with McKenna it was a bit of a shock. Ty was only four months and I didn't feel at all ready to bring another child into our family. Ryan gave me a blessing and in the blessing he said that I am so blessed to be able to bear children! Since then I've tried really hard to enjoy each day and am so, so grateful to have three beautiful, healthy children! Thank you Heavenly Father for entrusting these little spirits to me for a time! I am so grateful to be a Mother!


To My Mother In-Law:

Heavenly Father knew that I would need a good Mother in-law to be there for me when my Mother couldn't! He definitely blessed me with the best of the best! She has been a huge example to me, is a fantastic Grandmother, and most importantly is one of my best friends! Thank you Connie for being you! You have touched my life in so many ways! Happy Mother's Day!








To My Grandmother!

I have always been super close to my Grandma. My Mom and her are so alike. That was one of the saddest things about losing my Mom...that my kids wouldn't have a "Grandma Shurtz" like I did. I have so many wonderful memories of spending time at my Grandma's! She has always opened her home and heart to all of her grandkids. Thank you Grandma for always making me feel special and for making your home a place of safety and comfort! I love you!
