Okotoks Weekend!

My Dad got married in May and he and Penny bought a house in Okotoks. Since then we haven't had the chance to go and visit with our little family, so the other weekend we (the kids and I) headed out there to stay over night. Adam, Britt, Bella, and Ginger came too. Ryan and Cody had to stay home and work. The kids were very excited to go and see Grandpa's new house. They especially loved the little carpeted section in their unfinished basement made just for them with toys Penny saved from her girls. They spent a lot of time down there. We got to play at the park, go for a walk by the river, and we checked out the showhomes that were just around the corner. I remember going to look at showhomes as a family when I was a child, dreaming up the kind of home I would one day have. I still love looking through showhomes, and now its more exciting as the time gets closer, and closer to when Ryan and I will be building our very own home. We had such a fun time, and loved spending time with Grandpa Jim and Grandma Penny! Thanks for letting us come and play!
